Hello new week – Hello new Printable inspiration from Charming Chestnuts.
Confession time. Oh oh. Yesterday was actually the first day since I started this crazy Chestnut-adventure that I didn’t turn on my computer – like at all. Crazy.
Basically for 4 months straight I was at least on some level working on my shop/blog every single day. I totally have mixed feelings about this. For one, I’m excited. It confirms that I’m so passionate about this venture that until I stopped and thought about it yesterday I didn’t even realise how consuming it is. I love every single second of it!
Unplug and unwind
On the flip side it also gives me the feeling that I need to make sure that I find some balance. It felt great to get away from the computer for a day – weird though. I felt like I was connecting back to the pre-chestnut me again a bit and that was good. I enjoyed focusing instead on other things – my boys for one of course (and don’t worry, I might have been working a lot, but they still do and always will come first, all 3 of them – hubby included), and also just some mundane household chores (I mean, is there ever going to be a day when there’s no laundry? Because I’m definitely not passionate about that).
So after a day of being “unplugged” I find myself refreshed and have set myself some new milestones and goals. Sometimes stepping back really is the best way to see things clearer.
