End of the baby-years
Sitting out with great neighbors, friends and family and enjoying a beautiful southern summer night, I have definitely been feeling the end of an era coming along this year. The countdown to Kindergarten is now firmly into less than 30 days (who’s counting?) and with it comes the end of the baby-years for my little Chestnut-Tribe.

From now forward, we will always have school to look forward to in the fall, responsibilities will mount and my beautiful soul of a first-born will be growing up (*** not crying – not crying – not crying ***).
But for now, I’m enjoying the end of summer, hugging my big boy while he still lets me and making memories that will live in my heart always as those summer nights….the last ones before life, once again, irrevocably changed…
