I have lived in many different places over the years, but must admit, that aside from that charming little town in Germany where I grew up, I’ve never quite loved it anywhere as much as I do living in the South. Ever since the first time I read a Nicholas Sparks novel the charming life in the South has been calling me home.

And I mean, what’s not to love? The people are so friendly and caring, there’s tradition and history steeped into the buildings and towns and the weather!!! When you’re sitting outside in February, looking up at a perfect blue sky soaking in the “winter” sun, there really is no need to say any more…

Sending the sunshine to wherever you are

The beauty of this blog though is of course, that I can reach all of you, not just all over the country, but all over the world. And many of you are not quite as lucky with the weather at the moment as I am. Be it the cold winds and snow of a Michigan winter, a stinking hot, unbearable Australian summer or a wet and chilly German February, this week I want to just share my sunshine with you 🙂

Because there is sunshine in my soul today….
