Let’s start a new week – please!!!!!
So here’s the thing…this week has been rough…Rough, because my babies were sick, rough because I got thrown back into the troughs of night-time waking kids without any preamble or warning. And here’s where I have to publicly confess that I get cranky when I’m tired – and when I’m hungry for that matter (I’m the epitome of “hangry”). But this week I felt more and more just exhausted.
So when the time came to find something inspiring to share with you all, I struggled. But then I got the feeling, that this struggle is something that I’m sure many – if not all – of you can identify with. Sometimes you will just have a bad week. Sometimes you will be tired, and sometimes your babies will be sick. In those times all you’ll want to do is hold and comfort them. To heck with the mountain of laundry, the pile of paperwork, the new designs you had hoped to upload to the shop this week or any other number of things. So this week is for the mommies and daddies out there, who like me just want the best for their babies and who don’t have a good week, when they don’t. Hold them tight, because they aren’t little for long – so let them be little. Let them want their mummy to hold them for as long as they need. I can be a designer again next week.
