All the Thanking has been done
It’s been another exciting week around here. After we got put in the thankful mood at Chestnuts #1 school Thanksgiving-Concert (insert sobbing-proud-to-the-rim-mommy-heart here), we celebrated our first Family Thanksgiving. (Australia doesn’t do “Thanksgiving” like the Americans do). Now I’m sitting here wondering how in the world I’m ever going to recover from all the food. I mean, there should be warnings…Do people ever truly warn you about all-of-the-food??? It was soo good, let me tell you.
In the voice of the cutest group of little pre-schoolers you ever saw:
“We eat turkey, we eat turkey, all so good, all so good.
Always on Thanksgiving, always on Thanksgiving.
YUM, YUM, YUM
YUM, YUM, YUM”

So I suppose now we’re really getting down to the business end of the year and the holiday season…seems like the big one is just around the corner. While I haven’t been able to get all of my Christmas ideas and designs out there as of yet (I’m still hoping to add to the line-up), I’ve got a few designs ready. And my new line of mugs are also a surefire hit on Christmas morning.

Ok, ok, ok….I don’t really smell snow…not in the beautiful South of course. Although I am hoping my boys get to experience at least some snow later on in the season. BUT….I was pretty excited for the Gilmore girls revival that hit Netflix this week. And then it also coincided with my 7-year wedding anniversary. What could be better? And I always loved the scenes especially where Lorelei get’s so excited for the first snow of the season. So here it is “I smell snow”, in the hopes that I will get to this winter, that I will get to see the joy on my boys faces making snow-angels, building snowmen and maybe even shooting down a hill (a small one) on a sleigh.
