Can you believe it? It’s March already? Where has the beginning of this year gone already…crazy.
With another month ticking over, something else happened for my little business this week…growth. I had to pinch myself hard to realise this was actually happening, but this week marked me surpassing my entire revenue from last year (the 8 months that Charming Chestnuts was in operation). So in just over 2 months my business turned over more than the previous 8 – say what????
That’s absolutely mind-boggling to me and makes me feel truly thankful. What an amazing ride it has been and what exciting times still lay ahead. Are you ready for it? I for one don’t think I am..but I can’t wait either.
Closer to the dream
So this week is for getting closer to the dream. I am this much closer to running my business full-time, to well and truly working solely for myself and my family. This much closer to running my own schedule and not having to be tied down by a traditional 9-5 (which let’s face it is more like 8:30-5:30 these days – somehow that extra hour has snuck in there over that past years). This passion is calling me home and I can’t wait to finally get there.
But in saying this I also think of a phrase my Dad always used to say to me when I was younger and couldn’t wait for things to happen already: “patience is a virtue”. So yes, I’m excited that I’m on the right track and trying to also be patient to let things take their course…by tomorrow…lol…
