Another week gone already

I have had a lot going on lately – what with a full-time job, running a creative business and still trying to be there for Chestnuts #1 & #2 and my husband – Life has been crazy. And a bit frustrating too…

I know I’m stretching myself thin and am not able to give all my “jobs” the proper attention. And so I’m not getting time to bring all my ideas to life or get everything done the way I want to. But I’m doing the best I can and in order to give myself a break I decided to start celebrating the small wins and take my goals one step at a time.

Listings goal

One of the things I’m actually super proud of this week is that I finally cracked the 100 listings mark in my ETSY shop. I’ve been quietly designing away on custom requests and variations and add-ons to existing designs, but I just never got around to actually listing them. So for one of my small goals and small wins this week I set to work to crack this magic number (apparently it really helps with your search engine rankings on ETSY if you have over 100 listings – fingers crossed)
Please welcome these little beauties to the Charming Chestnuts line-up and give them some love:

Collaborations

Another exciting step I’m taking in expanding Charming Chestnuts is to collaborate with other awesome wedding vendors and professionals on various style shoots.

I had a ball working with Danielle, wedding planner extraordinaire at A Seamless Affair on her industrial-boho vision. Watching the talents of all these ladies come together for this amazing result got my creative juices all in a flurry… Captured perfectly by Catey from West Mint Media – gorgeous, right?

Stepping up my Pinterest game

Pinterest is a game-changer when it comes to being seen online – something that I’m of course aware of, but again, with everything that’s been going on I’ve just been neglecting my Pinterest game. First step to remedy the situation was to take Erin from Erin Gipford Design up on her free Pinterest-audit offer. She gave me some great pointers on what I can improve and I’ve already started implementing her advice. Now to keep it up and keep plucking away at it. Wish me luck – oh and why not pin this print below to one of your boards?!? 😉

See, now that I’ve listed all my small wins out like this, I actually feel a lot better about what I’m achieving with my business and growth. Sometimes I think I’m just a bit too hard on myself and have to remind myself to step back and take stock…there’s a lot to be proud of and thankful for. It really does pay to celebrate the small wins!

Do you ever feel this way? What small wins are you celebrating this week? Share below, I’m always excited to hear what you are all up to.

Happy Monday people!
