Hello and welcome!
I’m Natasha, a graphic designer and creator of Charming Chestnuts and owner of my little invitations and stationery store on ETSY. This blog is my little internet home where I want to share my passion for pretty designs and good typography, my family adventures around the globe and what inspires me in daily life.
While I was quite at home designing in the corporate world for years, I always knew I wanted design to be more for me. I’ve had this idea to break into the invitations and stationery market for a while now and the wish to be part of special occasions in peoples lives – and adding beautiful designs along the way. This is how Charming Chestnuts was born. Now I finally have an avenue where I can realize this dream and create, learn and inspire.
I grew up in a small town in Germany, met my husband and lived for 12 years in Australia before settling in the beautiful South USA – at least for now. I’m half Puerto Rican (my blond hair and fair complexion makes people never believe that one) half German, my hubby is half Australian and half Thai and so my two beautiful boys are a mix of the best of all of that.
Our adventurous life together has taken us all around, but no matter where I go, I want to try to see the beauty in every day things. I want to explore the world around me, try new things, learn new things, and go new places – both near and far. I want my life to become a whole new experience. I want adventure 😉
